BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS
2020
Your Board will meet throughout the year on a quarterly basis with meetings scheduled for the second Wednesday of the months of January, April, July and October. Meetings will be held at 2306 SE 30th Street, Ocala, Florida 34471, beginning at 7:30 pm. Dates, times, and meeting place are subject to change. Any changes would be noticed to the membership. Meetings are open to all members of the Association. Active participation in the affairs of Association by its members is encouraged. The annual Board meeting will, immediately, follow the adjournment of the annual meeting of the membership. Pursuant to the by-laws of the Association, the annual meeting of the membership is held the first Wednesday in December at 7:30 pm.

The annual meeting of the membership was convened at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, 12/4, as required by the by-laws of the Avondale Homeowners Assn. There was a quorum present at the meeting either by personal attendance or proxy. Upon motions duly made and seconded, the proposals to approve the budget and select the Board of Directors for 2020 as had been presented earlier to the members were approved. Annual dues for 2020 will be $500 per single lot, $750 per double lot, and the Board will be comprised of Christian Clark, David Otzel, and Berne Stalzer. Discussion ensued among the members present on a variety of topics in the interest of the Association; thereafter, the meeting was adjourned. The annual meeting of the Board of Directors followed. The Board acknowledged the decision of the membership with regard to the budget and election of Directors for 2020. A discussion ensued among the Board members about the topics discussed at the annual membership meeting. The existing Board put forward a motion which was approved to have as officers for 2020, subject to change by the newly elected Board once seated, the following: David Otzel, as President, Duane Somer, as Vice President, Joe Rispoli, as Vice President, Berne Stalzer, as Secretary/Treasurer, and Christian Clark, as Assistant Treasurer. There being no further business the annual meeting of the Board was adjourned.
